I see no point in seeing the latest chatter on the communications screen after I have jumped away from the system where the messages were sent at. They of course could remain in the chat history - I am not suggesting automatic clearing. Just that the latest messages would be wiped from the HUD since I am no longer in range with those uttering the messages.
Suggestion: Hide chat log on jump
