[Suggestion] Home Star

I suggest that on the galaxy map there should be a home icon that you can set on any star as a waypoint. When you click on it, you are directly taken to that star on the map so you can easily plot a route home.

I suggest this because I'm lost and can't remember the name of the star. But also, it would be good just for the ease of using it, rather than typing the name each time. Lazy I know, but it's the small details.

Note: If this function already exists then accept my apologies for my ignorance and please tell me how it's done.

Just in case someone can't read, then this is in no way a suggestion for a home button that takes you straight home like in other mmo's, that would be silly.

I'd actually like to set a home station so that when you request docking instead of saying "Welcome Commander" it would say "Welcome home Commander". I'd like to see a "bookmarks" on the map too of your davourite stars for quick reference, and even a "recent history" list. Oh and if you're friendly with a station's major faction it should say "Welcome back, Commander".

[Edit] oh and you should get priority docking and small discounts at friendly stations, especially at your home station.

Of course, all this is pretty low priority.

+1 Yes, some kind of bookmarking system is needed with galaxy this big. Right now I`m keeping all my fav systems in notepad

Nice idea, might help with imagining a bit of background to your character too. Of course nothing stops you from doing that anyway but a few touches from the game to acknowledge it would make it feel more real.
