[Suggestion] Id like a mobile version

Id love a way to play ED on my phone/tablet. Even it where condensed and not as robust, yet still linked to my account. So much boredom between meetings, slow days, etc. Plus, when my wife wants to chick flick it up I could multitask with some galaxy time.

Im sure theres significant obstacles with this but, still, its worth bringing up. Id even pay more.

That would be awesome, but even with much simplified graphics, I think porting the complex control scheme of a game like Elite: Dangerous to a device with only a touchscreen would be next to impossible. And if that aspect was greatly simplified, then there wouldn't really be parity and I don't imagine it would be possible/fair to link players' actions in that game to the same galaxy and background simulation as PC/console players. It would probably have to be its own separate game.

There actually does exist a game based on Elite for Android phones. Check out "Alite" on the Play Store, it seems to be a much-enhanced port of the original game. I haven't played it but seems to get good reviews on the marketplace, so it's probably worth a look.

Thanks for the heads up. Figured it would be just a wish, you know? I wonder if we could just do multicrew, turrets and such, from a mobile device.
