Basically my suggestion is to increase the size of both of these different aspects of the game....
Instancing:
32 player cap seems low, and some difficulties arise in instancing in the presence of players. What is the technical reason for only having 32 maximum ships in the system?
I assume this is due to how the p2p connection works. Is there a reasonable issue for these systems to do procedural generation of the various changing factors while still give a basis for up to 64 or 128 ships? Is it possible to limit only the NPCs, cap NPC ships at 32 and allow for up to 32 or even 96 more ships to be in the system? For some reason i think the p2p model might be more damaging to large player involved instancing.
Wing size:
Not sure what the actual reason for capping at 4 total in a wing is, however I would like to see 8 player wings. Or, squads of wings, like a wing of 4 wings. Something to up the game a bit on player wings.
Essentially, i want more epic experiences in elite, and i think moving these two areas forward would allow players to then create those epic scenarios.
