Suggestion: let us lock navigation target from star system map

As an explorer, I would rather not have to sit there trying to figure out which item on the nav target list is the one I want to scan, by counting rings and estimating distance. Why can't I do something like right-click on an object in star system map and then have my nav comp lock it?
