Suggestion : make scans interesting

Exploration is not the most exciting activity of the game, and the long time wasted in one of the many reasons for it ...

Suggestion :
while we scan a body (during the scan progress), a small windows appear and display bit by bit many technical informations from the body :
- body type
- name
- size
- mass
- temperature
- ground gravity
- rotation speed
- displacement speed
- revolution radius
- etc. (see all informations displayed in system map)

The progress of the list content will follow the progress of the scan : if we stop the scan, we never get the last values.
The point is more about "display many little lines with interesting values" than expecting the player to read them all. (as it can be almost as boring depending on player expectations)

The text box can take place between upper left communications panel and upper right information panel, with transparency, and fading off over 5s once the scan is done.

-> It costs really few to implement, and can add some more interest in exploration.

(and, in before pro explorer come here and start crying it would ruin all the dignity of their past hardship, they can just remind a simple passenger updated forever ruined their rank, so they should have better to do than crying here for changing strictly nothing)

This information is available in journal, I can think of many people that wouldn't want said window at all time, all this information is on system map.

I think the suggestion is not about the information itself, but about making the wait for the scan to complete a bit more interesting than watching a spinning circle.
I certainly would like this.

Yes, that's the idea : give something to do while scanning, using only current know data, and disappearing quickly once scan is done

i like the suggestion.

since i made elite in exploration (before passenger missions cough cough), i only scan what looks somehow interesting, and i dislike opening the system map, because i can't look at what just catched my eyes.

eddiscovery works as a workaround, but getting this info as an overlay or in bits on the hud, would be great!
