Powerplay Suggestion: merit points upgrade

I have been farming merit points for few weeks now, always (i am not a trader) on the "combat" side.

As i find very very hard (not sure if it is supposed to be a bug or a game mechanic) to interdict NPCs, i am stucked to Powerplay-related CZs.

What i realized after staying there for hours is that the gameplay pushes you to generally target the small ships and leave the big ones to the allied NPCs, because all of them give 10 merits. An anaconda gives the same amount of a imperial fighter or a viper, that is IMHO unfair.

My proposal is to increase the merits earned when killing mid-big ships (lets say 15 for Asps, FAS etc etc and 20 for Pytons/Anaconda, or whatever you think is better)!

Some merits for destroying enemy agents in your own territory would be a good start.
I get interdicted so often when delivering PP materials, but apart from 400cr I get nothing for the effort of fighting them off. Home defense merits would encourage defensive patrolling as a play option, and would make the experience of PP interdictions worthwhile - at the moment they just cause delays to the game.

ditto.
you can get merits from killing any enemy in a preparation system that's being prepared by your faction. why not get the same merits when you kill enemies that are in your own factions exploited/control system. even a lower amount of merits for defence would be better than 400cr. with my rank 5 rating I can get 30 merits a kill. 30% a kill would be a good amount!

It has been suggested before, and its still a good idea.
At the moment just keep a look out for any eagles or fighters that spawn, and kill them for the quick 10 merits.
If you are in a fast ship, just leave the anacondas, they aren't worth the time to kill them unless you are also in a slow ship.

If you assist your green NPCs at killing targets, you can herd them towards the bigger NPCs which makes it much faster to kill them, including the Elite Anacondas etc. This makes the TTK more similar for a Cobra/Anaconda. So 10 Merits per kill is plenty regardless of ship size.

Higher pilot rank does increase the TTK though, so maybe that should determine the amount of Merits?

honestly, in my experience, the difference in rank does not impact heavily on the TTK. The only difference i can note is on shields and hull, but they are significant only for huge shields/hp (Anaconda and python).
An elite viper and a master Viper do not require sensible different time to kill, while the difference is much bigger between a viper and an anaconda or an asp
