I've found multi crew a fun experience as long as you team up with a chatty crew. However as it's mostly a combat experience (with maybe a bit of mining) at the moment, I've got a couple of ideas for people to mull over
Exploration
I know the gunner role is not available in super cruise but could you imagine if it was, your crew could jump in the gunnery role and scan planets as you pass them by. It would ;-
Trading, Passengers and missions.
Again with the gunnery role in super cruise, the crew could scan the ships in the system, evaluating for threats. However, I wonder if the crew should get extra 'Hazard' pay and Trade rank bonus to make it it worth they're while to sit in the crew and wait for an attack. It's not as if traders go looking for trouble, maybe getting the same amount as a NPC crew member should get?
and while we're at it;-
General
(Probably already suggested but what the heck)
1. Please a 'roll' function to Gunnary (it's doing my OCD in).
2. Please allow more than one gunner and allow helm to assign which guns they can use. (The gunnery view is the same for both gunners).
3. I mean I could go on about an Engineer/Shield management role (imagine gunnery but focusing the strongest shields on the Reticle, kind of like a 350 degree version of Breakout)
I know, I know, I don't want much eh?

- Speed up Exploration of Systems
- Give crew something to do in supercruise
- When the helm 'Honks', all members of the crew gets a copy of the Class 1 scan added to their exploration data but only the commander gets their name for the unknown stellar objects (with the bonus).
- If a crew member scans a planet, the whole crew would have that planet added to their exploration data to be checked in.
- When a crew member disconnects, they keep the exploration data for them to check in at a station.
- Crew members don't get any reward when the helm docks and checks in their data, if they have been part of the crew while exploring, they should have their own stash to check in.
