Please feel free to tell me if there's already some way I've missed to do this as the UI on the whole seems very well thought out.
What my suggestion is an Outfitting Search function allowing a pilot who is aware of what they are looking for to search Module keywords and possibly Module Size class so when you open the screen it saves a little time if you're looking for specific items for your ship.
As an expansion of this idea, If not available at the current station list nearby stations that stock the item you're searching for.
I am suggesting this as at the moment I am suffering the frustration of trying to find several items to upgrade my ships.
For example Fuel tanks, Cargobays and frameshift drives. Now I am not suggesting a system that is all encompassing, just the ability to search for Module types and have the stations that stock them listed along with their range in lightyears. I'd suggest that it be kept simple, avoid giving a list of the exact modules Grades and prices, just Class and Name.
This would encourage Travel between systems looking for High grade items and make it easier for new players to find upgrades to get more invested in their ships.
