[SUGGESTION] pirate base

(I am French, I use a translator, I hope the translation is good)

Freelancer nostalgia, space opera Microsoft.

in this game there are hostile pirate bases, or to become ally, had to do the right thing, piracy, attack the ship security.

real pirate base not included on the map, the only way to know Some rental of ict Was bases to Spend ally, that making friends in the midst of great bandits.

Dangerous when Elite came out .. I have wanted to be true very hostile pirate base is hard to find .. but not.

I see fake pirate bases with a red flag a skull .. but no NPC hostility on the horizon, and any visible is easy to reach.

I think they are working on that. I have a feeling it might be in later updates. I think they wanted until they could get Passengers 2.2 So they could put more then just Pirate into the picture But more of a story to it and start adding stuff like below.

maybe but I do not think it is also clear that in freelancer , unless a party to change the gameplay system, or add a new gameplay style to those already existing.

freelancer in enemy do with security of ships doing us friends with the pirates in the region, and prevents us from trading normally , commercial bases became hostile bases , it was a decisive choice (but not irreversible) making us undesirable in some areas .

to reverse the balance would suffice not only be a bandit but in addition a traitor, shoot his former friends become hostile again with pirates .

the only way to repair as a pirate was joining a pirate base, and there were many, a base pirates by inhabited system but hidden.

Piracy was built as a freelancer in parallel world with its own bases and ship.

but this is only a suggestion with a little nostalgia , Elite Dangerous is a very good game as a whole , without it being necessary to compare it with others.

but why not if he thinks about it, it would be really epic that found a system so close.

You ever notice there Bases with Skull and cross bones. I would assume those are pirate bases. But I could be wrong. But what I thinking what your asking for is Hidden bases. Like Asteroids and such or some that are out in deep space.

yes very true anarchist bandit sidelines and permanent war against all forms of authority whatever it is , therefore bases hidden on the outskirts of the superpower that attacks the trader indifferently and do all that is unlawful, smuggling ect. there will no black market but all What this market will be illegal.

black bases, favoring red ambient light crimson to blue turcoise, dirty and poorly maintained, that their approach really inspires peace but fear , they are well modeled on freelancer and it is excellent.

with specific quests that accept all types of sources ( stolen or not ): murder, kidnapping, piracy drones, merchant of weapons, stagecoach attacks, looting and recovery, ect ...

and very shady services: clear premium over our heads .. diversion and stealing of information given either alliance, federation .. laundering ..

in return to work with them severely reduce our reputation with major powers and most independent (powerplay, federation, alliance etc ...) until very hostile .. and possible loss of rank federation empire (or not).

(I feel that rank and reputation are independent of one another for the current state of the game, the rank is mostly a very long ride)

and finally impossibility of this approach the greater part of the stations without being attacked on sight.

So work for them should be done with retained.. or not :D

there might be relationships between Archon Delaine is its individual, but this should not be suspect , the very existence of pirates must be a myth .

to get to the bottom of things, it's not us who will contact them, but it is they who come to us according to our way of playing . for example someone who will go see one of its bases having had knowledge of their location without being invited , would be extremely badly received by PNJ first, then by the players , I invite me to the party personally.

This is what I imagine when I think pirate, finally Archon Delaine is rather a funny  it has its place in the powerplay and as a superpower , but still too mediate and not enough in the shade so I could see there a true space pirate of 3302 in him.

David Braben himself wants asteroid bases.
He has said so several times in all kinds of interviews.

So we will get them.
And some of them will no doubt be pirate bases.
