It's nice to have the variety of stations in a system - but I find that mostly I avoid the systems that take a long while to super-cruise to as there's no reason to go there beyond "just to see" - unless I have a mission and I didn't check.... Certainly I usually avoid missions if it means a 10 minute super-cruise to a station - unless they happen to be an unusually high paying delivery mission....
Could we have something to tempt us to visit these far off stations?. Certainly they get less traffic so perhaps they would pay well over the odds for certain goods...or they have something else that makes them worth visiting. Perhaps missions should pay a lot more for deliveries to these stations - enough to at least make us tempted to visit....
I'm just imagining....
"Hey, Jon - is that a ship coming? - quick turn the station lights on...."
