Yep, suggested that during early Beta.

Found out fairly quick it's quite difficult (although possible) to find specific Coordinates without a Compass already in Orbital Cruise (or as soon as the Altitude HUD shows up).

I tried to land at a specific coordinates yesterday for the first time and the absence of a heading indicator while in SC made really frustrating I had to pop in and out just to get a heading. It's not possible to navigate in absence of any fixed reference.

There is all sort of fancy stuff one could add to navigation but the existing heading indicator will do.
