SUGGESTION: Reduce size of UI to get more on screen. eg: Shop Categories

It seems in some areas of the interface, the options are unnecessarily big resulting in stuff/options/information being off the screen for no reason. Maybe these could be reduced to offer more on a screen at once?

I agree. More information could be included which is currently excluded. My guess is it has to do with the multiple resolutions players can have on their hardware - and possibly more so in supporting that of VR units. This large UI prevents things from overlapping when resolution goes down/up. I think there used to be an issue with that before the UI revamp.

Specifically, I'd like the Transactions in the left panel to contain the Minor Faction name. Even the Critical Mission Updates are missing it. Have you ever had 2 Missions with the same Cargo and Quantity of it going to the same System but different Stations? Which one do I need to deliver in 0H 3M? I don't know. My loss. Even when turning in a Mission, some details about the mission are excluded, such as the Reward and Time Remaining (think Mining Missions). Sure you get to see it once it's turned in, but why not before?

Or they could let us customize the ui. Let us move and scale every ui element from weapon things to different ui menus. CTRL+shift+tab or other key combination and then you could just move ui elements around with mouse and scale wit mouse wheel. Then again same key combination and you are out of the ui editing mode. Move left ui panel where chat is now and scale it smaller and move right hand ui where info is now or make so that station ui is on right hand and not in front of you. Let us move the UI elements to place we like and make them the size we want. This would allow players to make ships ui and cockpit look like they want.

That way everyone could have ui the size and placement they prefer. It can't be difficult to make these things movable.
 
These are large for VR users. They wont be shrunk sorry. Its not game breaking deal with it.

There's far smaller text in the game than my suggested resize? An option for scaling/sizing these elements if it really is an issue for VR? "Small / Medium / Large"...

There you go. I dealt with it...
