From a realism/immersion point of view bearing in mind the future date, again, I'd suggest that our ships ought to be able to see planet coordinate systems in the system map (as long as the planet has been scanned) so that coordinates can be located and set as a destination before having to fly around the planet blindly at high altitude which is a grind which does not make sense.
Suggestion - See lat/long on planets in system map, and be able to set route to coordinates
