[Suggestion] Storage of cargo, similar to modules but not quite.

I'd love to be able to store cargo while i go and do something else.

Scenario:
i'm currently at Maia/Merope doing the community goal, but i took a detour to visit the barnacles at Merope 2A
now i have 2x Meta-Alloys, i want to take these to Felicity Farseer to activate engineering, but now i'm 2 slots short on my cargo for carrying on with the community goal.
it seems a shame to sell them and go back for more later.

Suggestion:
I suggest the ability to store up to 64/128/256/512 tons (amount up for discussion) of cargo at a station.
But unlike ships and modules, there should be NO ability to transfer them to other stations, as this would ruin the point of trading and nulify the risk of interdictions.
There could even be a storage/retrieval fee, say 1-5% of the galactic average per RL day.

You could also add storage fees from the station to add a bit of realisim, if FDev allow us to for lack of a better word 'adopt' a station we have chosen to call home we can purchase a storage hanger our selves so we don't have to pay storage rental fees but only one is allowed again to stop guys from holding loads of stuff and ruining trading. On the storage rental front I would say your allowed two separate places and only one bought storage place

Frontier have previously ruled out commodity storage (for non-engineer related commodities) as they don't want players stockpiling.
