Suggestion - Suit/Weapon materials

I'll drop this here and won't be watching. I understand this may not be the best time to have this kind of suggestion heard, but I leave this for later it will be lost to me, so here goes nothing. Also, I apologize if anything I say is incorrect or incomplete, but if that is the case it is indication of an information gap that would ideally be filled somehow. Also, just to make extra-clear, this is personal feedback and has no value as general community feedback unless other people say so.

The grind for suit/weapons upgrades is bad. I played over 60 hours over the last two weeks and was unable to get the Maverick suit to Level 4, and since the background simulation balance pass this got worse. Now I am mostly unable to find missions that provide Power Regulators. I get why you don't what stuff to be accessible for credits, but let the bartender trade between all upgrade materials. If you don't what something as "important" as power regulators being traded by the bartenders, don't make it a suit upgrade material. If the players have to grind, at least make a way for them to progress at some pace at every attempt. For example you could allow Degraded Power Regulators to be traded for pristine Power Regulator at some ratio like 5:1.

Another thing: I like the exo-biologist loop. I feel like it's a good addition to the exploration gameplay loop, adding more planets of interest for us to visit and actually explore. That's great. But I could not find any way this exploration helps me get material for the suit/weapons. Even the Artemis suit upgrades does not require that activity! Make the exo-biology related equipment acquirable through the activity, so we can keep doing what we like and improve our equipment related to that. The same applies to Conflict Zones and combat upgrades. The easy way to do this is to create a specialization "voucher" that is granted at the completion of every iteration of that activity (every genetic sample turned over / every combat completed in a Conflict zone / every wreck salvaged) and then require a set number of them in the place of Power Regulators! Two ships with one railgun round!

Otherwise I have been enjoying Odyssey, would not have spent 60 hours in it otherwise. I won't remark on technical issues because those are the ones that obviously need fixing, just maybe next time extend the beta and delay the launch... just saying...
