Suggestion: Synthesis of O2 and inert gases

There have been instances when cmdrs have been left stranded on long distance trips because of a lack of oxygen, say after their craft received damaged several times over.

Would FDEv consider adding oxgen to the list of materials that can be mined from certain asteroids?

Yes please! I've often wondered why the hell we couldn't synthesis oxygen and fuel.

Just make fuel synthesis very time consuming, so fuel rats and fuel transfers are still a thing in the bubble.

But when you botch a jump while exploring perhaps if you are lucky you can go to a nearby ring and mine out some materials. 1% per synthesis.

Oxygen 1 min per synthesis.

That will be all fixed when we can scoop the atmosphere of gas giants.

Oh yes synthesis shouldn't be needed to get oxygen, it's an element not a compound, rather we are mining ice rings, why don't we just melt a bit of ice and run an electric current through the water, voila, oxygen to breathe and hydrogen to put in our fuel tanks!
