Suggestion : The possibility to throw auway some fuel

On Earth, every plane can throw away his fuel to loose some weight.

I ask for the same possiblity in ED. Seems to be logical, isn't it ?

So you're suggesting that in being able to throw away some fuel, you can change the mass of your ship to change jump range?

I'll +1 this given that with their cut-throat attitudes you can screw up and strand yourself with that.

apparently there is a mod you can get from an engineer to allow one of the weapons to use your fuel as ammo. This would somewhat solve your request as you can dump fuel by firing off a few rounds and if you dump fuel in no-fire zones you'll get a fine just like if you dump cargo on a landing pad (just got a fine for this last night and was happily surprised at the fact even though it cost me because it is exactly what you would expect in real life whereby dumping cargo on a landing pad would be considered littering)
