[Suggestion] Third type of Cargo Space - Seating Area + New mission idea's.

There's a real problem atm I find with the one size fits all cargo space in this game.

Why does 1 slave take up the same space as 1 ton of Silver or platinum? (Is obesity this bad in the future?)

---------------------------------------------------

To fix this, I have a suggestion... The most simple way... is to simply change the description to say you're actually buying a jail-container which has about 500 slaves inside it, which is stored in your cargo hold.

Or..

Make it where if you wish to transport slaves, you need a new module type, that can fit in the same slots as cargo holds, which is a "Seating Area". This Seating area says how many People or occupants it can hold. (This could also make the more lavish styled tourism ships more realistic if they are instead given a very large "Seating Area").

Tourism Missions

Tourism Missions would be simple, not pay the most amazing, but would be easy, and require the appropriate amount of Seating Area. Basically, you've now made yourself a mini Cruise Liner, where in these missions you need to transport these people to x locations (usually made up of several random points in the system, or even other systems).

Example:

You take 10 Tourists on a round trip to 3 different Systems. System A, B, and C.

In System A you need to travel to the "Tourism Spot" which is randomly selected planet. Simply lock on, and super cruise to that designated planet.

Once you leave SC in that area, you need to stay there for a few.. Say a minimum of 30 seconds. Then you can Super Cruise to the next destination.

Once you've completed those area's, return to the station to drop off your wonderfully happy Tourists, for a little lump sum of money for your services, and wonderful wine.

These Missions could have their own rank with a new "Tourist" group. Special missions unlocking as you gain rank in a faction, which results in higher paying tourism missions, like Escorting the Grand Dukes Wedding Barge, and carrying his guests.

Looking at the size of the ships, cargo space must also be limited by volume, not purely weight. In the real world, one ton of platinum is actually smaller than I am, and I'm skinny. And the ton of platinum doesn't require a bulky life support system to be attached to it taking up even more space. If anything, you should only be able to fit half of a person into a cargo slot, but that could get messy :D

(A ton of platinum is roughly the same size as a 50kg person. Or a person weighing about 125 pounds)

Tourism mission: 5 passengers desiring 3-hour tour in uncharted system. Hopefully your old hauler (whimsically named the 'Minnow') will hold together until they can pay you...
