Suggestion to add 'War Thunder' style target based mouse controls

The current mouse controls in Elite Dangerous are not ideal especially when attempting to use them with flight assist off. A target based system where the ship will point towards the position of the mouse cursor when moved would be much easier to use and would make the game much more fun in my opinion. This control system was recently implemented in the new Space Engineers 2 alpha and it made ships much easier to fly and is what inspired this suggestion. I am not sure how this would affect combat however as i am not a combat player so i understand if this idea is scrapped due to balancing issues, i just hope it is at least considered. An example video of this mouse control system taken from War Thunder is attached below.

Mouse and keyboard is best controller in the game. Turn on relative mouse, put yaw on mouse, roll on keyboard. no deadzone no power curve, relative rate set high. Relative mouse is not comfortable in Supercruise or FA ON so turn it off with keybind when you change between or use alternative key set.

also here is a good tutorial

You need to understand that this is a space game not an atmospheric flight game. Your movement to any direction will not stop unless you counter it.

FA Off is equivalent to flying in sim with the instructor turned off! :)

Though for relative mouse i would like to see a dot for where my ship intends to end up facing with FA on lol!
