This may sound crazy but, this is just a suggestion.
Since thargoid wars are here, some of power play groups have to focus on both, to make things better here are some, i think might work:
1. Allow Engineered ships that's built by players and stored in FC to be rented for the fights only for Squadrons. Should be only for thargoid wars! Rented Ships can't enter Other Powerplay systems. Provided subject to change if this idea is accepted! A small fee to be paid for rented ships per day, ship destruction carries same insurance cost as a player owned ships. Player who are taking it will be paying it.
2. If a powerplay system is attacked, killing each different thargoids should give us merits that way it adds more dynamics to the system play.
3. lock power play system that's been invaded, only powerplay group can fight in those systems, cmdrs are allied for that power. Permit lock it! So everyone fights! dont make it easy! if any wants to fight they have to ally to that superpower, great powers bring good credits, pay more in those systems also send 20 medusa. . to greet them all. This should only be during invasion phase, or about to get invaded. let all get taste of fighting bugs. if the system is out of invasion free navigation will be restored fully after system is won. if system falls its the powerplay group who has to get it back.
