[SUGGESTION] To measure and reward loyalty

It would be great if the game measured and rewarded loyalty.

For example I have been loyal to one and the same power since the start.
It would be great if this counted for something.

Just an idea:
Perhaps loyal pledges should not sink below rank 2 or 3 as a reward for their undying loyalty.
Perhaps being loyal for 6 months will keep you in rank two and being loyal for a year will keep you in rank three.

And related:

For example when you are pledged to an Imperial power your status might stay allied (if you reached that level) for the time you are pledged, even if you are out of town for a few weeks.

Another related idea:

When I take a mission I never betray the mission giver.
It would be cool if the game recognized this and would generate better paying jobs for a mercenary like me, because my clients know I always get the job done and I never betray them.

I think this is a good idea. What I'd do is make 1% of merits earned permanent, i.e. they don't decay. So once you earn 10000 merits you're permanently rating 2. The only exception will be weekly income, where permanent merits will be capped to at most double your normal merits. To compensate for permanent merits the merits required for the various ratings may need to increase for balance reasons. Adding such permanent merits, even at a low 1% level (it'll take 2 years for your permanent merits to match your weekly ones) isn't a big change but gives a small positive reason to stick with a power.
