I was in Jotunheim tonight, happily wiping out NPC goons in a CZ, but was reminded all night long of one of my biggest large-scale combat pet peeves.
The auto-targeting key CONSTANTLY picks up enemy warheads, most of which are well out of range and not aimed anywhere near me, and will not let them go until they pass out of range.
I have never, ever, EVER felt threatened enough by an NPC missile to try to shoot it down with anything other than point defenses. So why are they prioritized above all other threats, including that rail Eagle that's pulling rings off my shield as I watch multiple HE dumbfires go aimlessly whistling by on my targeting display?
I get that it's possibly a useful ability vs. PvP torpedoes, so I wouldn't wanted it knocked out altogether. Just give us an option to either prioritize projectiles far lower, or disable their targeting altogether in the 'select next target' context. Please.
And thank you.
