Suggestions for HUD color?

I am looking for a HUD color that is easy on the eyes yet stands out against stars and the black of space. I don't know why but the Blue I am using is making my eyes tired/sore now so I'm looking for something else.

Actually I've been thinking of changing mine from the default orange.... could people post their huds and settings? It'd be nice to see them.

I use this:

<MatrixRed> 0.18, 0, -1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> -1, 1, -1 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 0.15, 0.32, 1 </MatrixBlue>

It gives an easy to read green but keeps the red of hostile contacts on the scanner.

P.S. one quirk with this is that players show up as a white square rather than a hollow one.

Instructions on how to change the colour are here: http://galnetnews.com/review/change-your-hud-colour/

edit: never mind me >_< this tool is actually linked up in the link already posted above :) So move along, nothing to see here.

ps: I use this, it's very easy on the eyes.

<MatrixRed> 0.21, 0.29, 0.93 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> 0, 1, 0 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 1, 1, 1 </MatrixBlue>

Which I took from here:

This is the HUD I am using right now:

<MatrixRed> -1, -0.02, 1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> -0.43, 0.53, 0 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 1, 0.36, 0.04 </MatrixBlue>

Still bluish but it works for me:

Here is the matrix:
<MatrixRed> 0, 0.5, 1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> 0, 0.15, 0 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 0.87, -0.05, -1 </MatrixBlue>

I love the default orange, it's quite easy on the eyes. The only thing I don't like about it is how hard it is to distinguish the fuel scooping text when you're pointed dead at an orange star. Black borders or something around the text would fix that right up!

I'm not a big fan of changing HUD color for one reason only:
I don't quite like losing the red/foe and green/friendly color code which you inevitably mess with by changing the HUD color.

That said, I did change it a couple of times to match the rest of the dashboard on some ships:

The Orca's instruments glow yellow rather than orange, so I fly the Orca with these settings:
<MatrixRed> 1, 0.25, 0
<MatrixGreen> 0, 1, 0
<MatrixBlue> 0, 0, 1

For a result like so:

And recently on the Cobra MkIV:
<MatrixRed> 0.5, 0.5 ,0.5
<MatrixGreen> 0.5, 0.5, 0.5
<MatrixBlue> 0, 0.5, 1

For this result:

I use a 80's Fluo setting, found in https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=73419&page=12

Matrix :
<MatrixRed> 0.03, 0.1, 1 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> 0.4, 1.25, 0.2 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 1, -1.25, 0.3 </MatrixBlue>

And in my Imperial Courier :

It's a must have under the spinning light of Herbig Ae/Be discoball-stars.

I'm a explorer, so i don't care about friendly/hostile until i found Thargoid.

I've been using this for a long time, haven't really felt the need to change anything about it. I usually have it set to 50% brightness, but it works pretty well with the lowest brightness setting for me. The one downside I would say is that it doesn't mesh well with extremely bright backgrounds. Or headlights, depending on light and surface material. As far as I'm aware and can remember, it does distinguish between friend or foe with green and red respectively as well. Menu systems in stations are a sort of olive drab if memory serves me, it's been a while since I docked.

<MatrixRed> 0.3, 0.3, 0.4 </MatrixRed>
<MatrixGreen> 0.2, 0.6, 0.1 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> 2, 0.1, 0.1 </MatrixBlue>

< MatrixGreen> 0, 1, 0 </MatrixGreen>
< MatrixBlue> 1, 0, 0 </MatrixBlue>

<MatrixGreen> 0, 0.78, 0.32 </MatrixGreen>
<MatrixBlue> -0.1, 0.14, 1 </MatrixBlue>
