Suggestions for improved player interaction

I have a few straight to-the-point suggestions:

Designate a "capital spaceport" for each faction which has unique elements that can only be utilized at capitals.
These elements should not require players to go to this spaceport for any game play necessities, however
should have incentive for players to visit, essentially creating select areas with slightly to moderately
increased player activity.

These unique elements may be some of the following: Custom paint work, custom doodads for ship interior,
the ability to place bounty on other players at a loss, requirement to upgrade your "rank" status or faction status
starting at a certain tier, micro-transactions, certain faction specific story-line missions, etc.

These are just some ideas but the repetitive notion is that they would have to be things that do not prohibit
one's ability to move forward in the game by not visiting the capitals. They would need to be completely
optional for players to visit, though these sort of things would attract players and create semi-central hubs
where players who want more player interaction will be able to find it much easier.

Please let me know your thoughts, I appreciate anybody taking the time to read this, as I only want to
add to the possibility of improving the game for everyone, not only select individuals.

Very respectfully,

Chris

This idea i really like.
I would think that maybe a capital or smaller class ship would be available there and nowhere else in the respective groups systems, though the rep needed for a permit is always steep i hear
The main benefit of capitals is that they would be (theoretically) pirate free

there is a suggestions forum for this https://forums.frontier.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=32

I have a feeling there have been a few threads about this before.

I like the idea that there are areas with more and areas with less player interaction. So, if you want to socialize you can but it shouldn't be forced on you. Neither should the players who prefer not to mingle with others suffer a penalty, for example advancing slower.
I think this would be in the spirit of Frontier: You have the freedom to do either, it's your choice.

Where I think it starts getting tricky is 'guilds'. Frontier have made it abundantly clear that they don't want to create another EVE. They don't want guilds because it would shift the power too much and a lone player would be at disadvantage. But if you want to meet up with a few friends to go bounty hunting that's cool. That's at least my impression and I share that view. If I wanted to play EVE (or any other 'social' MMO), I'd play EVE and the like. But what I like about ED is that I don't have to do all that social stuff if I don't want to and still fully enjoy the game without disadvantage.

I think Frontier has a pretty clear idea about what they want in terms of player interaction, some of that is yet to be implemented. But I also feel they have not communicated/marketed it as clear as possible.
