I don't have a shield generator and I'm not clear on what I need to tweak to fit one. I'd also like to acquire a couple collector drones to help with mining.

That's a horrible build..... Not using the maximum size cargo that you can. It's a 5 size slot and you're using a 4 size cargo rack....
Gimme a minute...

Here you go. No scoop, better cargo, no need for a docking computer. Tip: always use D rated modules instead of E rated. They are much lighter.

An A grade prospector will triple (at least!) the frag yield so I'd lose the 4 T cargo slot and make money a lot faster.
