There is a strong upswelling of opinion in the community just now that essentially says the players of Elite are getting hacked off with the radio silence from FDev, despite this there are still lots of suggestions being put forward, many of them are great ideas, and would pretty easily implementable. There are some more outlandish ideas contained within this forum that would need significant development resources allocated to them to make them work. I'll put my hands up that a lot of my suggestions fall into the latter category.
I reckon that the community would be incredibly receptive to this forum being given some sort of feedback, ie a yay/nay/maybe and heres why. It wouldnt take much to have someone look at the ideas and compare that to the current development plans and figure out what could be incorporated easily and is a genuinely good idea, and feed that back to the suggestions thread "Thanks for the suggestion, its a really neat idea, we are going to incorporate that in not this next update but the one after that". Or they could look at a suggestion and go "no, thats just daft", but politely comment in the suggestions thread that "this would steer the game in a different direction than we want to go in, but thanks for the suggestion." Or for the maybes, explain that "the devs and designers have discussed the idea and it looks interesting, but we are not sure if it will work with other things we have in the pipeline, so we are going to revisit this idea and may or may not implement it in Q1-2020 minor update"
TL-DR: One sentence per suggestion from Fdev, giving a yay, nay or maybe, and explaining the reason for it, and locking the thread once its been developer reviewed would be greatly appreciated.
