Suggestions. Old ideas

I would really like to see missions to small landing pad outposts or stations. It would give us a reason to use some of the smaller ships.
I would also really like to see some sort of AI run trading so we can keep our fleet of ships doing things. Maybe only allow trade. But there are already AI ships. This would be AI ships owned by us. It would allow the trade economy to new systems to grow, would allow ship owners to make some money, and would allow fodder for gankers. I know this idea has been rejected before but it needs to be rejected again. and again. and again.

Apart from some Odyssey planetary outposts there are no visitable places that don’t have medium pads. So what you need are more like those.

Never mind automation, completely wrong game. But don't worry, the way things are going ED will completely morph into that game soon. Soon all the gameplay will happen in the galmap as you direct your empire and the fate of humanity and count your shekels. The annoyance of actually flying your ship will get excised completely.
