These suggestions work well for Solo too imo, but I feel the future of FD is players playing with or against each other.
1) Jump ranges and fuel efficiencies need improved across the board, for all ships - I'm for doubling them all, or even tripling them all. Bring the profits of trade goods down if you need or whatever other balances you want but players really need to be able to quickly get to where other players are.
--Pirates need prey (traders) and traders (those who like multiplayer) need pirates to actually give them enjoyment/thrill/risk.
2a)So, stop FSD from being so easily recharged upon interdiction (helps pirates) and
2b)stop making a trader's death cost him/her 1 or 2 nights of trading just to recover - rebuy costs need lowered NOT to make the game easier but to make the game more appealing to play as a trader in Open. Maybe have contracts a station gives you that helps cover your insurance IF you're carrying their goods at time of death. There are ways to do this...
