General / Off-Topic Summer Air (RCT3) in the Style of Planet Coaster!

After the awesome response from my RCT2 video, I asked the community on the Theme Park Simulation Games Facebook page to vote for what I should make next. The response was overwhelmingly in favour of 'Summer Air' from RCT3, so here is my recreation of it in the style of Planet Coaster's music. Enjoy! :D

This was actually one of my fav songs from RCT3 so I can't help but be really critical. I think you've done a good job even if, to my opinion, it would've been nice if you hit more of the right notes. I can hear you've been searching for the melody (I can't explain it otherwise.). You've done an excellent transition and captured the feeling quite well imo.

Sounds lovely :D I remember linking your rct2 theme to Deuce some weeks back (or Gary, I forget which)

I want to challenge you to make something that may not work at all in Planet Coaster's style, like "Mechanical" or the bumper cars music.
(btw, if anyone is good at making underground style music, doing a remastered version of the Bumper Cars / Dodgems music would be amazing)

Thanks for the feedback! Not exactly sure what you mean about hitting the right notes, can you elaborate? :)

Thanks, glad you like it. Maybe I'll challenge myself with something like that sometime :)

I mean that the melody at some parts doesn't really sound like the original in a way that makes me feel like it's not because you are trying to change it into PC style. It's nothing huge mind you. Just something that I personally miss. It doesn't need to be a note for note copy. It's already a great and good effort in translating it.

I dont quite hear the same vibe as in the original

I imported all RCT audio into PC which I think everybody should have [up]

I sort of have to agree. It starts hitting the spot for me from 0:51 to 2:34 and outside of that it feels different. Not a bad thing imo but I would personally not call it a remake. More a retake.

Great idea! *puts on to do list*

you did this and the RCT2 theme right? they have been growing on me [cool] are you doing any more?

some others that might make for a good remake would include
rct3- bubble house (soaked theme)
rct2- urban style
rct2- haunted style

by the way you can download the entire collection of RCT music into PC!
instructions here https://youtu.be/tJ2khNlfcJQ

Awesome! Thanks for the suggestions, I am definitely going to do more in the (somewhat) near future, I'm just very busy at the moment [happy]
