Where are on ride photos

Everysingle Theme and Amusement park in the world has them

I love this game, I love frontier, I love Sam (Yes, im Sir Gaz, Sam)

But as a Photographer, I love photos of coasters, Please make an old man happy and give us those onride photos

I understand and respect that, I was an alpha backer and CHC member, I'm not demanding or getting aggressive, just reminding frontier I've been asking for it (as have others) for a year and a half, even longer when you consider I posted in the ideas thread of coaster Park tycoons forums.

Love you frontier, this was the best Value £75 I've ever spent

I get that but as we know, requesting doesn't always mean receiving for whatever reason. Some think constant posts over and over will get them what they want. As for this feature maybe one day it will come but for now let's enjoy what we do have [up] Too much to look forward to for next Tuesday and to hear they have plans for something big in November made me all [wacky]

This would be pretty cool to have. As a coaster add on, then guests can buy them. Probably dont need to see through it yourself. But some kind of mechanic would be nice.

Yes please! I don't doubt it's on their radar for the future, some day. With the new screens it would be great if you could link the photos that are taken on each run. That way you could place the shop and add the screens that flick through the photos as the guests stream off the ride, add peep reactions to them and it would be a fully realized feature I think. One can dream a little. [squeeeeee]

I agree that would be amazing, id be happy with something simple

but expanding on your idea, how cool would it be expanding that and allowing you to share your onride photos to social media of your avatar?

Obviously a nice thing!

Probably equally obviously, personally already add a triggered light over a big drop with a 0.25 sec duration, triggered off the ride. Good luck getting a screengrab at the exact time the light flashes, but after a while you forget about it and then, every now and then, from the corner of your eye at night .. theme park flash. (Great when two or more rides have the same thing)

How about an email, with a pic of you avatar pulling a funny face, at some random park where he/she is a guest .. and a link to the workshop of the park, and the name of the ride? :eek: (would love also to see JUST the first person view camera of riding the ride, as the ride experience only)

The new screens and camera spots I would think make ride photos at least more feasible. I thought Planet Coaster was good before.! After last night's stream, what looks ultimately possible, is really starting to blow my mind.

I suspect that they want to do it properly so that when you click on a guest you can view all the on-ride photos that they have bought.

However putting that into practice might be a massive resource hog or something so they haven't figured it out yet. Especially if it shows the background and other guests on the train that aren't part of that rider's group, what time of day/night it is and whether you have built or changed anything in the background since they rode the ride. Or if they buy an on-ride photo and then you subsequently demolish the ride etc.

Great idea! A billboard covered with ride photos next to a t-shirt stall on the exit path would look great once the update rolls out.

I like the idea of placing a security camera where you want your ride camera to be, with a flashing spotlight ride event next to the camera - one flash for each row in your coaster train. It'd be fun to watch the coaster zoom past from the "photo-cam" point of view, flashes and all. [happy]

It'd be really cool if they could copy and modify the security cameras code to save a picture as the ride zips by, then auto update the linked billboard.

I think it'll come either way. We'll have to patiencen and enjoy what we're getting. There's lot to come.

But it'll be a nice add for sure :)

Ride-Cams aside, this is honestly one of the best live streams and updates we've seen.
It was so good I watched it a second time today. (And it's a long one!) [big grin]
So many surprises.... What a world of new possibilities!

I can't wait until the 27th! [heart][up]
