On Earth we know if you're facing 90 deg on your compass (East) that the sun will rise from that direction. This probably isn't the case for every single planet and I do believe in reality some actually spin the other direction and having the sun rise in the West (270 degrees).
I don't know much with all the stats such as (Axial Tilt, Orbital Inclination, Arg of Periapsis at all, but just curious if there was a simple way to determine what direction the sun would rise from on any given planet? Of course it might also depend if you were on the poles and season and stuff, but not sure how much that plays into ED planets at all.
Just curious as I am on a planet and might be for some time and would like to head towards the sunrise if possible for effect (and I don't want to recall my ship and fly around to figure it out that way)...
