Sunday Space Sounds

Greetings Cmdrs.

If ever there was a day for cruising through space in Elite, it's Sunday. I'm currently on my 5000ly trip for Palin, and as superb as the music in this game is (easily some of, if not the, most atmospheric, fitting, and attentively composed music in any game I've played, at least), variety is the spice of life and all.

So, I'm currently listening to some different sounds for the trip, namely this:

I tend to listen to shakespeare or some kind of political twaddle like the 5 types of government, the Art of War or philosophy...

I know, dreadfully dull stuff.

Doesn't sound dull to me. I automatically go for music, but actually listening to some philosophy lectures etc sounds like a good way to multitask hah. Certainly worth keeping in mind if ever do a longer trip than this one. Any particular philosphical favourites?

I was blissfully unaware of this years Eurovision songs. Until now. :D

Thousands of lightyears aren't enough. Currently plotting a course for the centre of the nearest star (I would say go UK, but quite frankly our offerings are without doubt some of the most god awful attempts at 'songs' in the competition. Plus we're, you know, 'taking control back' now, and all that. Apparently).

You got further than me Lysander :)
