Sunshine Observation Deck

Apologies if this is old news in the VR/OR forum, but I just came across this:

http://www.pcgamer.com/oculus-rift-demo-is-a-meditative-study-of-the-sun/

"If you want to visit space in virtual reality, you could always risk a nervous breakdown with Alien Isolation. For those looking for a calmer, less fraught experience, Sunshine Observation Deck might do the trick. Created by Julian Butler and now available on the official Oculus website, the environment is based on the set of Danny Boyle's 2007 space film Sunshine.
"This is meant to be one of the more calm Oculus Rift experiences where you can spend some time relaxing and looking around," the description reads. "Take in the prominences while John Murphy's 'Adagio in D Minor' plays as you approach the viewing deck glass. View information on the monitors from the Solar Dynamics Observatory in the adjacent science lab."

Wish I had a dk2.. :/ one day!

I grabbed this demo as soon as the guy released it dew days ago. It's a simple but great experience to be in that room, more specifically if you see the movie "Sunshine". The music raise when you go close to the window showing the sun, and even if you know you have a glass in between, it's breathtaking to go the further you can. Very good ambiance, I kept this demo and did it several times (and I didn't kept a lot of those small demos, mainly one shot usually). I strongly suggest all DK2 users to test it (and it's free). Cool momentum.

Very nice demo, thank you for the link.
Clear and crisp visually, the background music caused an irritation after a few minutes as I sometimes like YouTube running when I sit in awe at someone else's work; but you cannot have everything, can you.

I'd recommend this demo :)
