"Super blue blood moon' on 31st January

In the Guardian / Observer :

A rare celestial event will grace the skies during the coming week when a blue moon and lunar eclipse combine with the moon being at its closest point to Earth, resulting in what is being called a “super blue blood moon”.

The trifecta will take place on 31 January and will be best visible from the western hemisphere. The last time the three elements combined at the same time was in 1866.

It seems the UK and Europe will miss out though.

Here is a bit about it from NASA:

Don't mock him, he's right! No one set foot on the Moon, ever.
They tried once actually, with a wood ladder, but it could only go up to a point. There were talks for an attempt involving cannons too, but rumor has it the idea got canned following budgetary and safety concerns.

No biggie though, the Moon can stay where it is, we already have plenty of cheese down here.
