A module that allows for short momentary increased acceleration in super cruise mode.
It would function like a regular engine booster, draining large amounts of engine power, increasing heat output and perhaps even drain system power to some extend as well. But would unlike the regular boost establish and maintain the increased speed instead of slowing down after the boost is over.
Various modules could be sold offering different acceleration power, length and power drain.
Would be useful for getting out of those gravity wells faster and for getting up to higher speed quicker. As an explorer this would be a huge time saver.
Perhaps micro jumps will make this idea somewhat redundant. I can´t wait to have those implemented.
