Super Cruise Changed?

Has Super Cruise been altered in the latest patches?

I have updated and started have a play again tonight and the SC seems really slow and takes ages to build up top speed, then as you get near to your destination, it speeds up dramatically and I end up zooming past, going too fast.

Had it down to perfection previously, so either they have changed the dynamic of how it works or I have suddenly become useless and stopped being able to play properly

Any one else having issues? The sound for speeding up is also ruined in these latest patches, as it is a constant whine now, rather than how it used to be

I've noticed something's different too, but I haven't really been able to pinpoint what exactly.

Definitely the sounds are very different though.

Seems the same to me apart from some different/new sfx

I was thinking this when just playing, but I think maybe it's only the sound that's changed.

It's the sound. There is far less *audible* acceleration, so it makes the whole thing feel slower.
