Hi Guys
I note here at the very beginning of my story that I may have
it, and doing something wrong if so please help this poor Padawan!
My problem:
If the above scenario is true
I propose the following solution:
I note here at the very beginning of my story that I may have
My problem:
- I cant get a yellow route from A that marks the entire route to C (C being my end Destination) I realize that I must SC through a whole lot of B's as intermediate steps before I can reach my C.
- Why? C has a reddened route icon!
- After much effort zooming in and out/going up and down/sliding across the map - and wondering if I am not to high or too low in 3D space (and hoping like crazy that I am still going in the right direction:S) ...I eventually decide tentatively on a particular B in the maze of crisscrossing lanes and a million possible B's and click on the white icon route at B1 (a B that I know will be the first of many B jumps toward C). This method is really a hit or miss and looses the economical or quickest route factor (you could go quite a few jumps more than what you intended)
- I then get a nice clear yellow route to my first B from A
- I arrive at B1
- I repeat point 3
- I arrive at B2
- I repeat point 3
- Rinse and repeat until I finally get to C
If the above scenario is true
- When you click on the now white route icon at C - the yellow route then appears ALL the way from A to C (part solid line and part broken line)
- The solid line is your FSD jump range and the yellow broken line is the line that you must pay for as a route toll (or other name) at the various B's along the way
- When paid for from A you will get a solid yellow line from A to C - and so you can happily SC across incredibly vast distances knowing that it is either the fastest route or the most economical route chosen (only if you have the money) saving much time and increasing the fun factor ....
