Water Discovered in the Atmosphere of an Exoplanet in the Habitable zone. It Might Be Rain
Huge news! Scientists have discovered water in the atmosphere of an exoplanet in the habitable zone. It's a Super-Earth orbiting a red dwarf.

and it’s twice as large as Earth, and about 8 times as massive
8*mass & 2*size equals roughly ~2g, not comfortable, but not impossible. It wouldnt be much use for us if we ever managed to travel there. But if life did evolve in that Gravity im sure its morphology would be fascinating.

It's probably not habitable for humans, or even life as we know it, for reasons other than gravity--the hydrogen-helium atmosphere comes to mind--but it's still very neat that we can discern the presence of water on an object so close to Earth's size at 124 light-years distance.
When this gets lanuched (finally) Our ability to look for chemical signatures in atmospheres at a distance will greatly improve.
