Super friend zoning for PVP players.

Hi

I have just come with a marvelous idea to help people who abuse the in game blocking function, avoid challenge.

Now while I am sure this will greatly stress out the match making server, it shouldn’t be any worse than blocking!

It also will promote good feelings and love within the stars!

Everyone start populating your friends list with EVERYONE you meet! Human player = New Friend request to send!

Then when everyone is friends, the people who are friends will be instanced together first! Because friendship is magic! MLP for Lyfe!

This wonderful move with most likely result in blockers being put into their own Open instance.

This way they can continue to thrive and grow! Learning and developing!

Come on everyone! Lets spread that love!

My friends list is a list of PvPers who challenged me or other players I know in real or from somewhere else. I like to keep it clean but this idea is brilliant. I gonna paint a ship in a my little pony style for support!

AFAIK people who use the blocking function avoid only two types of Players :

- antisocial Griefing Exploiters/Cheaters (cue Reverb Cascading Mines inside Stations, Station Rammers, Engineer Base Gankers) etc.
- People who create Threads claiming Players who don't like to play with cheaters/exploiters are Carebears(tm) or "avoid challenge" and similar nonsense

Based on what I've heard, it's a very successful method to keep such riffraff out.
Rumors have it, it's so successful even, that riffraff gets salty enough to head straight into this Forum and spread some crocodile tears o.0

I'd call that Working as intended. You get out what you put in, simple as that.

Me personally, I don't have nor ever had anyone on that Blocked Players list for what it's worth.

PPS.
Reportedly, the "Ignore User" and "Ignore Thread" functions are being also employed to great success.
Soon enough, not even these crocodile tears nor associated ramblings will be felt or seen anymore.
Mission accomplished then : you're alone. That's what you always wanted, right? At least your post make it sound like that was the plan all along and I take it you worked very hard to achieve that goal (?)

Old rule of the Internet : don't feed the trolls and they'll go away. I guess it works in-game just as fine.
