Super Weekend

I do not usually share my life with people I do not know but it has been good and it doesnt happen that often so what the hell.

from thursday to today had been just Super, it started on thursday mucking around with the headtracker from brumster pocketmoon and deadfred, had a job interview at BT.

Friday spent the whole day packing all of our stuff from a 3 bedroom house.

Saturday Sunday and Monday moving weekend, moved into a lovely 4 bedroom house, worked for 12 hours straight over each day, after the moving man went we still moved the things that were left over.

Sunday found out that alpha 4 is out on may the 15th, youtube time hehe

Monday Cleaned the entire house started at 7.30am finished at 8PM.

Tuesday Handed Keys in ordered my new king size bed, got a phone call from BT to say I got the job hurrah.

Just what a super weekend it has been and now I am knackered.

in defense of BT they actually did a good job by transferring my infinity over to the new house even got the home hub 5 which I hope is going to be better than home hub 3.

phoned up a week before they transferred it over the day before the move and the new home hub was waiting for us on the saturday.

The job role I went for was customer service but with the prospect of going to technical which I would prefer

Amos, congratulations and kudos for the moving willpower. I moved house a month ago and still haven't unpacked half the boxes yet! We had to have champagne to celebrate, and doing work seems less important after that! :eek:

BTW, We're with Virgin, so we'll have to find somebody who works for Virgin customer support and is also willing to admit to it...

haha I used to be with virgin about 7 years ago and their customer service was non-existant I dont know about now though

You were lucky - this is a good omen for your new house ;)

I've got a Home Hub 5 and it seems pretty decent. I managed to fix some port issues with it that I never could with my old Virgin router thingy, so it gets a thumbs up from me.

I was thinking exactly the same thing!

Why does my hub reboot every hour? Now I have a replacement hub why does it drop the IP address every other day around 3am?

Oh man, you may have had a super weekend - and congratulations on the new job - but you've let us know you're the person to moan to when BT Infinity breaks! :D :D :D

haha that is really funny, you know I have had that problem with my home hub 3, usually on a sunday the thing goes off and on and around midnight for maintanence. its very annoying
