Superconductors = cash money

so i just picked up a load of superconductors from a system with high supply and dropped them off at the next system over which had high demand

superconductors net you 1k of profit per unit, so even with a sidewinder and no extra missions you can easily make 6k/run.

Yes, it just requires the initial investment to be able to afford a cargo full of them. There are places where you can do a two-way trip between two systems, e.g., superconductors in one direction and progenitor cells in the other, each yielding around 1K per ton. And after a few runs you can afford a bigger ship, then repeat with even more profit per run. Of course it gets boring at some point (and after a few IRL days these routes usually become less profitable and you need to find a new one)…

yeah earlier on i was doing minerals in arcturus, i'm way down back near default systems now

this was just the first time i found high supply conductors :)

how come there are thinks like personal weapons and battle weapons that you can only buy in like one place? cant find anywhere to sell them, lucky i didnt buy any

Welcome to Trading 101.

This^^

Also, don't rely on a juicy trade route you have worked out when Gamma is released. Going by what happened to different planetary systems between Beta 1 and 2 and Beta 2 and 3 the planets will be randomized (except the hand crafted ones) again.

Break up the boredom in a cobra and nab some bounties at the USSs. Had a T6 but then I just wanted the cobra back

+1 and even between Beta 3.04 and 3.05, I had a cushy run netting me ~1.2k-3k per ton on superconductors, when 3.05 came out both the stations that were stocking superconductors no longer had any.

I've also seen in 3.05 the effects of the economy, a run which at the start was netting me 1.2k per trip is now down to 700Cr.
