Not sure if a thread like this has already been made somewhere, if it has, you can point me to it, if not, lets start one here now. Just a few thoughts/ideas.
1) while in supercruise and have a starport selected, how about orientating the direction that the starport is facing in the target area just like when you have other ships selected. That way you can fly in at it in a direction more appealing to you. i.e you can avoid being dropped out of SC from behind the station. I'm not sure if its possible to exit SC and literally collide with the station upon exiting or not but i know for myself i've came pretty damn close.... scary with a full load of imperial slaves lol. also annoying to have to travel from the back of the staion to the front of the station. could also implement an option to overlay a flight path on the hud that would guide you to its front/entrance. Players can turn this option on/off.
2) when launching off the pad... how about an "abort launch" button or something... could be just me, but ive hit the launch button quite a few times and realized "ah crap i forgot to refuel" or something.
Swear i had a third idea... forgot it now. I'll edit this if i remember.
