Is this a design feature, or an unintended consequence that will get fixed later ? Very handy while it lasts, though.

And it even fuel scoops - must try this !

Only works when the assist manages to aim dead center and not have the target drift off center too far too fast to adjust for a dropout angle. But other than that limitation, it's neat.

Excellent! Pile in at top speed, blue-zone the throttle at about 4 seconds to go (well into loop of shame / circuit of glory territory) and ship drops out at station undamaged. It certainly eases the stress when arriving in a busy shipping lane with a hold full of opals.

I bet this is nerfed.

I should imagine it's pretty handy if you are being chased by a persistent NPC, or making a run for the safety of a station patrolled by 'content providers.'
