Supercruise brakes that use fuel but let you go faster overall

I like to go as fast as possible because tbh, I hate the waiting time to arrive in supocercruise, just too damn long

then .... SLOW DOWN

okay........

well SLOW DOWN can´t be done quickly enough, means it´s too late and you need to take a loop

why no supercruise emergency brake that consumes fuel, to give an option to the impatients

But there already is an emergency stop. Just press twice on supercruise button. :)
Except that would be a waste of time. You'll have to sit and wait 40 seconds after shutdown before you can jump again.
@OP: I find that killing your throttle and moving the ship around bleeds off some of the speed, in case you run into a speedy approach situation.

you can use stellars such as planets to break, thats what i usually do.
from full speed aim as close as you can and do a loop around while you pull back the throttle, slows you down pretty fast.

I´d prefer a module which can be triggered with a key when I´m really close to slow down, backwards thrusters that consume fuel but prevent the annoying looping method.
I just want to get to my destination quicker, willing to sacrifice a hardpoint and a bit of fuel, for more convenience and shortened travel time

Use the planets pull to drag you down to speed

I actually really like the idea of using extra fuel for special SC maneuvering. Fast braking and fast acceleration when in a gravity well would be great. It'd be fine if it used crazy amounts of fuel--fuel would be more meaningful.

Learn how to fly before complaining it doesn't work, going in a straight line at full throttle is NOT the fastest way to get anywhere because, as you've found out, you have to slow down as well.

Learn to spiral in with 3seconds on the clock, (4 or 5 if you are in a poor pitching vessel). Can shave 30-50% off the 6second blue zone straight approach time, but needs practice.

can you read? I WANT to go at full speed instead of wasting time. It takes too long and it gets repetitive.
