Horizons Superpower Reputation lowers even after progessing well

I am watching a puzzling phenomenon :
I do alot of missions for the Federation, normal stuff, delivering goods, finding goods, rescue some illegal goods they lost...
That all rises the reputation of the certain faction, but the superpower reputation has a big fat red Downwards arrow beside it and i didnt failed any of those Missions i did for the last Weeks.
I went from 82 % To 78% now without failing or giving up missions i do for federal factions.. this makes no sense to me... Maye someone here knows more about that specific bar behaviour...?

I've not done minor faction stuff for many many months now (been exploring the last 5 and was busy with other stuff before).

Back when I was involved I had an interesting dilemma of a mission for one Fed faction annoying another. The other issue I had was going to a fed faction controlled station and accidentally picking up other factions missions.

May not be anything to do with whats happening to you but worth checking. One thing I'd say is it could be that first one since even if 1 faction thinks your the best pilot around if the others all dislike you then your rep with the Fed as a whole is gonna be bad...

There is something known as reputation decay in this game, anything > 75% will slowly decay to 75%. The principle is what have you done for me lately, even though you did a bunch of missions. I think the decay should not happen if you have done stuff for a minor power associated with a major power. Then after some time of you not doing anything it should start decaying.
