Superpowers are now minor factions too?

For example in Tionisla Nakato Kaine minor faction is prepping for conflict with local minor faction. Nakato Kaine (Alliance) is a minor faction there!

Reinforced and Stronghold sectors have superpower standing listed in local news on every port, but somehow they are not listed in sector view and right info panel.

Does that mean they work are under same rules as other minor factions i.e. expansions, conflicts etc?

There are now Power Conflict Zones if two Powers reach the conflict threshold in potential expansion systems.

Yeah, I noticed Kaine has a faction in the factions list on the system map info screen in Tionisla. No faction representative mission-giver inside the stations, though, so I'm not sure what the deal is.
