Summary
System: Tionisla
Station: Brett High (Orbis Starport, large pads available, 329 Ls from main star, 117.42 Ly from Sol)
Objective: Deliver Copper, Micro-controllers and Polymers
Time limit: 27th May 3307 @ 06:00 UTC

Description
Prime Minister Edmund Mahon and Councillor Nakato Kaine have launched rival delivery initiatives in Alliance space.
The two leading candidates for Alliance prime minister are attempting to gather public support, although the actual election will be determined by votes within the Assembly on the 27th of May.
Every opinion poll suggests that Mahon’s victory is all but confirmed, which will grant him a second six-year term. However, the outcomes of these community drives will directly affect the successful candidate’s policies once in office.
Councillor Kaine aims to support local manufacturers in order to boost trade. She has asked for supplies of copper, micro-controllers and polymers to be delivered to Brett High in the Tionisla system.
Should Councillor Kaine be the most successful, there will follow a void opal mining initiative to help stimulate trade. This will increase the availability of rare goods in Alliance-controlled systems.
This week-long initiative will continue until the top target is reached or time has run out.
To be eligible for rewards, you must sign up as an active participant before handing in copper, micro-controllers and polymers to Brett High in the Tionisla system.
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.
Notes:
  • Brett High is orbiting the planet New Caledonia
  • Station services: Commodities Market, Black Market, Shipyard, Outfitting, Repair, Restock, Refuel, Fleet Carrier Administration
  • Prices at Brett High:
    • Copper 2,452 Cr/T
    • Micro-controllers: 22,496 Cr/T
    • Polymers: 1,232 Cr/T

Re: Copper not Gold

Yeah, sorry - just found that out myself ... should be fixed now but might need some tidy up. We are working on updated supply lists.

New starports when Mahon wins benefit everyone vs more rares when Kaine wins... Anyone still running rares?
With better profits the rare commodity trading would reborn.
Void Opal mining was always better in ton/profit compared to Tritium mining.

But yes, new starports are always a win.

Just out of interest if you are an Alliance player which CG are you hoping to win? Im for Kaine, dont like the expansionist policies at all.
I’m a former Alliance supporter, I paid myself out of my Alliance contract just before helping the Marlinists in Ackwada (bought ARX to replace my Alliance nameplates). I’d have preferred to have seen a stronger response to the Imperial oppression from what I’ve always seen as the ‘nicer’ (less bad?) superpower.

Regardless, I think change is a good thing for the Alliance now, and Mahon isn’t making himself look any more attractive to me with his expansionist policies and Thargoid-poking shenanigans.

So I’ll be doing some runs for Councillor Kaine’s campaign over the next few days.

To the Cutter behind me in SC in Tionisla - I dropped out of SC due to interdiction by NPC then game crashed repeatedly....not every disappearing ship is due to other players being around :)

My alt just did the salesman route to get to 50 markets and 5 black. And for the nostalgia. I still do on occasion , but mainly for the nostalgia, text flavour, and tea. Of its many ceremonial types. Other then for engineer unlocks I dont think the average pilot has any reason to tho alas.

I'd love to see rares made more relevant again and Mahon is clearly a door handle so the T9 will be out and about for this one.

Just a shame the closest place with a decent supply is over 200,000 Ls from the star.

I don't get why Mahon is winning for now, he's just pushing to an all out war against goids, only a small portion of players are able to fight properly in AX ...

Plus, Opals are real fun to mine, and more rare goods could add some fun too, new ways to get Cr etc...

Tritium mapped mining groups are hoping in big profits on the commodity market.

Vo are not so fun to mine as they are globaly shared its just different... Once mined they are gone for 6 days... They also require Smaller ships to be efficiently mined because there a greater chance of greater distances a part per core...
CGs that run on mining require TONs value not Credit value, so core mining generates Low tons over laser//surface mining...
Laser mining resets the rocks every 3 hours per the miner and can be done in wings as each ship can get the same amount from each rock... Those who can predict how mining CG normal work will go laser as they can be completed better than core...
Laser is effected by haz res multiplier in hotspots... core rock count is not effected by hotspots its effected by Fdev generation code only and that was nuked last july 2020 which made LTD and VO rarer in ICE rings and increased every other type of core so that the low paying booby prize junk cores show up way more often...
These and more reasons Core mining is done a lot less than laser mining and leads many more to pick it over core..
Those same reasons will effect these CGs...

With FC this time Laser mining locations with in 500ly of the CG station can be used easy so as long as the CG station is with in 500Lys distance to ICE ring it wont be an issue any more doing 20 jumps to a station to sell tons in a T9...

Another reason this side is sucking badly is High price items sell for less and are harder to get on this CG.
You can do shorter runs yet get paid more per trip for lower distance runs on the Other CG...
