I don't appear to be able to find support in the game settings for anything like a 3D mouse in order to control the free-camera. I've been using a 3DConnexion spacemouse for a fair number of years now and the difference of having a separate device to control the camera during builds is invaluable.
Many other programmes support these devices such as 3d modelling programmes; Google earth; and Second Life viewers. Firestorm viewer in particular allows for use of not only a spacemouse for this function but any USB joystick or gamepad.
Do you think this is a likely addition to the functionality of Planet Coaster going forwards? I think it would make a huge difference to helping more people build if they could control the free camera with another USB device.
PS. Devs: Utterly brilliant to finally see a successor to two of my favourite games, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Theme Park. Nice job! [yesnod]
