So since we have repair limpets coming out I've been thinking of some support/healer ships.
Eg.
This federal corvette
(just imagine the 3A AFMU is a repair limpet)

Okay it isn't very much of a support ship when it has dual huge plasma...
But! its an idea.
Though something else for a support build could be...
An imperial clipper!
(again imagine the 1A AFMU is a limpet controller)

So large beam for healing, lots of speed and chaff for avoiding getting shots, limpet for healing hulls, APA for applying chaff effects on enemies to protect friends, Hammer to pop enemy shield cells. certainly not a dps monster but a nice assistant in a combat zone.
Yea repair limpets are useless in combat but nothing is stopping you from quickly jumping out... taking a few seconds breather to repair the party up and restore their ridiculously high prisma shields... and jumping back in.
I also put the rocket propelled fsd thingy for those who might want to use this as a pvp ship
